Meet Lonny Kopan and his wonderful certified Service companion named " Jayce ".
Together they bring joy and laughter to those in various facilities and sick children in hospitals.
Jayce was born at Balsam Ridge and we love nothing more than to learn the owner has spent time in training, as this breed is capable of so much due to their amazing temperaments, athleticism and high intelligence.

CKC SHANTAR XANDRIAH ROSE
Our new solid silver female pup from New Zealand, NZ CKC SHANTAR XANDRIAH ROSE, (a.k.a. KATARINA or Kat as we call her), brought three first place wins out of four shows in early May.....while in the Baby Puppy Category.
In late June, she brought in two First place wins, two reserves, in the 6-9 Junior Puppy Category....beginning her points towards her Championship Title. Way to go Kat !!
Katarina's first weekend event, in Baby Puppy category..wins 3 shows out of four.
BALSAM RIDGE is extremely excited to announce we are anxiously awaiting a new addition to our family, coming to us all the way from NEW ZEALAND.
The Sire of our new solid silver pup will be the stunning ASANTI TEFIBO DESIGN.
The Dam will be announced soon.
Katie and Ryker have done it again!
At 2016 UKC Premiere in Kalamazoo, Balsam Ridge is proud to announce Katie and Ryker have done it again!!!!
Ryker won Best Altered in Poodle Specialty ....and... Best Altered in United Retriever Specialty!!!!!!!!

Mr. Jayce - Certified St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog
Hi Jan,
I hope all is going well back in Ontario. Just an update with Mr. Jayce. He is doing amazing. I am still enjoying everyday with him.
One thing that I am extremely proud of him for, is that he just recently passed his practical evaluation to become a certified St. John's ambulance therapy dog. This included about 13 different tests involving commands, interaction with other dogs, people in wheel chairs, using crutches, walkers, canes, loud noises, walking properly on leash, and a few other things. I am so very proud of him.
He is now going to be visiting patients in the cancer clinic at one of our hospitals 1-2 times per week for about an hour.

Congratulations to Balsam's Sharp Dressed Man
(a.k.a. " Ryker ") on achieving his UKC CHAMPIONSHIP at the June 2012 UKC PREMIERE in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Sired by our HE SADDLES THE WIND ( Rhett ) and Dam THE WIND WHISPERS SCARLETT ( Scarlett ). What a fabulous pup... We will be keeping our eye on this boy!!!

He loves people and is now doing therapy work bringing joy to those around him! Amazingly smart, he is also a wonderful family dog and competition partner."

CKC KC BALSAMRIDGE GRYFFINDOR'S THOR ( aka Thor ), born at Balsam Ridge found his new loving home in Austria with Ursula Marx. He is beginning to show FCI and bringing in those ribbons. Keep up the good work, we are proud of you :)
